ABOUT MONICA

With a background in Advertising, a degree in TV Production & Business and a passion for makeup, it’s no wonder that Monica’s creativity is constantly flowing. She even got back to her musical roots during the beginning of the pandemic and classically re-trained herself how to play the piano after a 25+ year hiatus away from the keys and only 11 months of lessons at age 8.

As an extension to her production/advertising career, she’s found her calling in makeup artistry and has turned her passion for it into a full-on side hustle. 

Several years ago, Monica decided to briefly pause her career in order to perfect her artistry skills even further. She heavily immersed herself as a makeup artist at Sephora and developed various techniques & skill sets, learned about and trained with all skincare/makeup brands and worked on clients of different ages, ethnicities and skin types. 

She’s collaborated with clients and photographers on several projects and momentous occasions including weddings, showers, birthdays, prom, photo shoots & music videos. She specializes in all things beauty. 

Her philosophy with finding one’s inner “MoJo” is a perfect combination of her nickname  and it’s only fitting that she wants others to find their true glow from within.

By using their faces as blank canvases, she always looks forward to the clients she meets and their beauty she’s able to enhance along the way.
